My name is Henry Redmond, and I would like to take some time to tell you about us.  

 

I have been a lifelong resident of Mississippi, born and raised in Stone County. From a young age, I would attend auctions anytime the opportunity presented itself. The auctions fascinated me, and this sparked my passion to become an auctioneer.  My Family's background is in forestry. I worked for the United States Forest Service for 20 years as a firefighter equipment operator. I continued to have an eagerness to learn about auctions so I made my dreams a reality. I attended the Missouri Auction School, and then furthered my education by attending the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Denver Colorado.  I am now a licensed auctioneer in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. I am a member of the Mississippi Auctioneer Association and I have had the honor of receiving the Mississippi State Champion Auctioneer award in 2013 and 2022.

 

I have been involved in the auction industry for the past 15 years. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work in all types of auctions and fundraising events such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, NRA, National Wild Turkey Federation, and others.  I still had big dreams. I wanted to someday begin an auction company of my own. When I retired from the United States Forest Service, I decided this was the time for me to evolve my auctioneer path. My wife and I decided to create Wolf River Auction, LLC.  We are a family owned and operated business. My wife, Lori Redmond is a lifelong resident of Mississippi and has 27 years of experience in office management. Lori is responsible for the daily clerical operations and managing consignments. 

We strive for our BUYERS and SELLERS to have a positive and successful experience.  We will work hard to provide our customers a service that is ingrained with integrity.  We hope to grow and expand, introducing new ways to streamline auctions.  Auctions are a great method to market, sell and buy property.
